Coral in 12G with NO light

Is there any type of Coral that will do well in a 12G with a Fluorescent light. I plan on having live rock and a couple of fish, but want to add some interest to the bottom. It's ok to tell me there are none, but I'd like to get some opinions.

There are a few..but they are difficult to keep.NO light means they are non-photosynthetic.This means they must live from food...so feeding is imperative to their survival.In a small tank all the food may compromise your water quality.It can be done..it's just not easy.
These are a couple.
Sun coral ~tubastrea{each polyp must be fed individually}
Non-photosynthetic gorgonians...{ones with white polyps}
Chili coral

maybe some discosoma mushrooms. low-light corals or non-photos as suggested.
but i wouldn't try the red or blues in such a setup though. 12g probably the cube so you're also probably talking about Hagen NO's unless you're retrofitting for URI's (which would be a significant upgrade imo-even their 18" NO's because they're T12's).
there's another thread where i gave info on 18" NO's but that was more a specific request for info. if you're planning for corals and such and retrofitting or upgrading, then PC's (2 or 4 32W's or a quad 96W) or MH's (70W or 150W) are the way to go.
you could go VHO but fitting into the 12g would be near-impossible. maybe 2-diagonally? not a good format/fit imo. hth

Would a Feather Duster be a good alternative?
Tinyreef, actually it's a Marineland Eclipse 12. Please don't bash me, I'm just starting out.

i would never bash someone (unless i knew them, then's it's just friendly ribbing
).
can't say i recommend any of the eclipse for nano-reefs but they're great tanks for FO or FOWLR though.
but i think they have retros for PC kits for the eclipse. they might even put them out with included PC's for all i know. i haven't really looked into them in a long time.
if you're thinking of reefing i'd suggest you not even bother upgrading that. you'll just be pouring more money and still be unsatisfied in the end. (like i did on my eclipse 6 way back, d'oh!)
feather duster's ok but it's not as simple as dropping in food and it gobbles it. (most of the bigger feather dusters anyway) i'd rate it as difficult whereas almost any fish would be easy to moderate. i would think correct food for the feather duster would be the paramount concern. i can't really comment more than that as i don't have sufficient experience with them.

How about some nice red gracileria or other pretty red type macro-algae?It will give some color and does well with lower lighting.I keep feather dusters in my 12 gal NC...I just put a tiny bit of an invert formula made by O.N. in every week..I would recommend eliminating the bio-wheel filtration and add a hang-on type.You can retro-fit the top with a fan and some PC's if you are handy.This 3 gal eclipse was modified before I got my 12NC.

i have all of these in my 5g hex eclipse:
green mushroom
orange gorgonian
yellow leather
candy canes
feather dusters (1 giant 1 lime green)
tube anemone (orange outter tentacles neon yellow inner tentacles - looks really cool!)
yellow/brown zoos
yellow polyip
pink and pink/green tinted elongated pulsing xenia
red macro algae
green feather calurpa
1 2.5" peacock mantis shrimp
~5# LR
~7# black (tahishian moon) LS
I replaced the halagen bulb with a 10w 50/50 coralife screw in
(I am looking for a 13W retro kit if anyone has heard of one please tell me! I dont know if it is even made)
Everyone is happy and doing great!
