I received some Rics the other day, there looking ok so far. I put them on the bottom of the tank and turned off my MH's for a day, but kept my T12 Super actinics going. Is that ok? Do Rics require a slow light acclimation??

I would say no to the light acclimation. They are pretty tough and almost indestructible. But it wouldnt hurt them either just keep an eye on them

I ask, cause one looked stressed from the journey through the mail. I noticed some slime in the water bag it came in and was shedding a lil bit after I put it into the tank. This morning it looked a lil hungover, but as soon as I turned on my LED light, it seemed to perk up a bit. Is that normal, shall I be concerned??

I had a ric that detached from its rock, float under my live rock and disappear on me. I found it a month later buried underneath some rock rubble. After all that, it was still alive.
Rics can take a lot of abuse. Not saying you should purposely put them through a lot of stress, but I think - from what I've read - your rics will pull through.

Yea, I had a ric hitchhiker on a peace of live rock that was out of water for at least an hour, than moved to a 40g trash can, was in there 2 days w/o any light. Once I got the tank setup, did not even know it was there and it just appeared one day. So I guess I answered my own question on this one...
