hey guys. i need some help here. I got 2 polyp frags. But i am unsure how further apart to place them, or where to place them in the tank or how secure location i should place them. can i have my whole tank rock scape picture and then zoomed into where i placed my 2 frags. can u pls check and let me know if that looks ok. thank u so much.. here is link to album with several pics. Starting with the whole tank and end pics are zoomed in. ( placement good? is it ok or too bottom of the tank? too close to each other, do they look ok/happy?.. pls comment)

also another question. you u place a coral frag on the rock. does the frag actually "get attached" to rock someday? or is it always just sitting on top of the rock unsecure?

I think they are okay where they are, BUT why don't you spread them apart some...they will grow over your rock, and this way you will not have them grow into each other. Also, if they can not be wedged, it is usually best to glue them down...this way a snail or crab can not knock them over.....AND YES they will spread an attach to the rock eventually

wait what?? i can glue them?? i have a stick of holdfast epoxy glue. how do u glue those? does epoxy glue bond under water? or are you saying i should take the whole rock out, glue the frag and place rock back in. that is not possible as u can see in the pic its one of the base rocks.
another question. given the conditions are right.. how long do you think it will take to spread? is it matter of days? 1 month? few months? or years ? and how long till they attach to rock so crabs. snails wont knock them over?

also do u think its terribly close to each other? i wanted to mix two varieties to be right next to each other and kinda mix in. and my tank isnt that big so i need room for other corals too. but if u think i should spread them an inch, i will do it.

As far as how long it takes to grow and spread..lol...it varies...so I really can't answer that...BUT wit hthe right conditions...not very long
I do not knwo what kind of glue you have...you can use super glue gel, or aqua-mend (epoxy stuff)...You have to read the ingredients and make sure there is nothing toxic in it.
NOOOO you do not have to take the otehr rock out..lol....Just the polyp piece...dab the bottom of that rock dry...be sure you have no sand or anything like that on the other rock....put glue on....place polyp where you want it...hold for a few secs....should be good to go...

These will not hurt each other if they touch, so if that is what you are wanting...then they are fine. Especially since you say you are planning on adding more stuff
BTW I don't know if I told you this or not...I really like your rockwork
