Coral placements in tank

I need a good book to guide me on where to place my corals. I've got the "pocket Guide" but it doesn't really explain where to place corals (on the rocks, on the sand, high, low, etc...)
Any suggestions?

How much lighting do you have?
How big is your tank?

Any.. I just want a good refernece book so I can the layout of my tank.
for instance... the other day I read a post where people were saying "a brain coral should be placed on the sand bed." I didn't know that..
