For the past month or so my LPS corals have been acting very strange...frogspawn retracted, 3 brains are looking terrible. Even my anenomes are very small. My softies are all doing fine...zoos are spreading, xenia is growing like crazy. I thought it was my lightbulbs so i replaced 2 and still nothing.
I did tests today and my calcium was at 455, ALK was low at 2.8 but its back to over 3 now. Mag at 1350, No Ammonia. SG 1.024, temp 82. I have no idea whats going on. Could it be my sand bed ?? Its 4 years old ...im stumped.
I had a mandarin disappear...could it have release something if it died??
Im running carbon to see if i can get whatever is causing the prob out...but it hasnt had much impact. I can usually fix probs...but this time im lost.
Any Ideas??
