Under good water and lighting parameters is it possible for a Candy Cane and a Trumpet to take over a week to open up after being introduced into a new tank?

define "good"
Normally they prolly shouldnt take that long but they may just be getting use to the tank....

Good means all parameters are within limits. Here is a couple of pics to see what they look like. give me your opinion.

my candy cane always came out at night. If you look at them with a flash light at night you will see little tenticles comming out of the heads. I would spot feed mine phyto and zooplankton. I believe they do need to be spot fed. Whenever I fed mine they always looked better the next day.

Hi, it looks especially from the bottom pix, that those lost thier symbiotic zooanthie algae, and so they aren't flourecent as much. If that's it then it could take a while for that to come back.
