Coral question

Hi all, quick question. I got my first corals today after doing all the research on which/what/where. Question: The corals came attached to small round rocklike disks from the supplier. Do I need to keep them on these or can I safely remove them and anchor them in the tank by themselves or on smaller rocks? I have a colt coral, a rhicordia mushroom, and blue, red and flourescent green mushrooms. Thanks.

Leave them with their rocks and just place the coral where you want it. If you decide on a permanent spot after awhile, then you could glue the rocks down to the rock in your tank that you want.

I agree with beth, leave them on the rock they came with.
Why take the chance of harming the coral.
