Coral turning green - help!

Coral shouldn’t be white unless it is dead. Algae is caused by excess nutrients. You need to get them down to prevent algae growth. Increasing flow also helps.

It's definately not dead it's covered in polyps which come in and out. I don't understand why it's only on those corals though, I have lot of other coral with nothing on them

White corals are bleached, they don’t have their zooxanthella. The zooxanthellae are the symbiotic algae in coral and anemones that provide their nutrition. Once corals bleach, they tend to die. The reason I suspect the algae has settled on the white corals is light is able to get through the dying tissue and the coral can’t fight it off any longer.

how much light do you have on your tank?
