What is the difference? do they mean reef to be solf coral or zoo's?? and Coral being Hard coral like brains and SPS/LPS??
I'm just trying to figure it out...

Um...
I think reef is the total environment, and corals are just a part of it.
I understand "reef safe", to be safe for coral and inverts.
"coral safe".. maybe the specimen won't bother the coral, but might attack inverts?
Just a guess

thank man... i think you may be correct... nice yellow tang... have you ever noticed that it protects your coral?? I have an angel fish and whenever he goes near my LPS to pick at it.. my yellow tang swats him..haha Usually the tang is a pain when i add new fish... but i really like how it cares for coral!
