I keep trying to fight my nitrate and it is like a losing battle.I do very frequent water changes to reduce the the nitrate but have just noticed when reading the lable on Marc Weiss' coral vital that it produces false readings.My nitrate is at 20ppm.
I know this is not to bad,but I would like to get as close to 0 as I can before adding any other corals.Is it possible that I am just getting false readings and my nitrates are actually good?I will discontinue Coral Vital and continue to monitor water parameters.I am also curious if the shrooms and polyps will do as well without coral vital.I will post the results.
