Coralife PureFlo II - Replace Filters?

Wow...I've been off of these boards for maybe a year and there have been some intense changes!
My question to all is this...
I have had my Coralife PureFlo II RODI unit sitting in my garage for about 1 year now without use. The cartridges in the three main chambers are very brown. I am assuming it is from the heat and moisture the unit has been exposed to as I am in Central Florida. Should I replace the cartridges or should I run a few gallons through the system and continue use as normal?
Before going into storage I used the unit for about 6 months.
Your assistance is much appreciated!

If I were you, I would replace them all including the membrane. If you do not use the unit atleast once a month, it doesnt stay moist....

In fact, I just found the instructions for it (cant believe that) it says that the membrane can be stored in the unit for up to 30 days and be ok, but if it is not going to be used for atleast that amt of time, they recommend that you take the membrane out and put in a tablespoon or so of r/o water in a baggie and place in the refrigerator.
