hi all
i was just curious if anyone would be interested in a slightly used coralife skimmer?
its (ill have to double check) the coralife 220 model. rated for use with very large systems.
it was used on my 75 for about one month, until i switched everything over to my 150, which has a cabinet that is too short to house this piece of equipment.
any offers?

I am also interested. I already have the 220, but it never hurts to have another.

I might be interested if this is definitely the 220. Oh, and is it the super skimmer with needle wheel? Or is it the old venturi model?

im pretty sure its venturi model cause i vaguely remember the instructions talking about a 'venturi chamber' ? does that solve that dilemma? i got involved in some tank maintenance work last night and forgot to check the size, ill do it tonite :)

well it is the 220.
99% sure it is the venturi
i got it new for 239.99 - big al's - if you wanna check price
being that it was only used for about 1-2 months, i feel around 215 is a fair price. let me know if you are interested, otherwise i will just keep it for an aggressive tank i will set up next year...

I'm not interested if it's the venturi model. But, I'm wondering if we are talking about the same skimmer here or if you might have your prices mixed up. The Coralife 220 venturi model is only $110 on big al's new. The newer 220 super skimmer with needle wheel is only $150.
Are we mixed up somehow?

hmm i just called them before i posted- big als , the only location in the us is in florida, they have a US and Canadian website. and the guy said the 220 is 239.99....but now i called the website people and i see what you are talking about and they said the prices could be way off. im also seeing the model and pics , and now i think it is the 125 needle wheel, they say they never carried the venturi.
sorry for the confusion but there is no # or anything on the actual skimmer! i think i will just start a new thread with pictures to make it clearer.
