yeah, some people say that the css is not a good skimmer. I have to disagree, mine pulls a lot of nasty goodness out of my tank. For the money you can't go wrong.

just hooked mine up and besides the touchy nature of the water supply, LOL see what happens if you turn the knob all the way up really quick, i dare you lol
other than that its been good and already it is pulling out junk 3 days into installation.
got the 125 for a steal 114.00 brand new
Disclaimer: Do not turn knob all they way up unless you are quick to the power off, and have a wet dry vac handy lol this skimmer has enough power to blow the lid off the cup. and possibly could put out a large fire if aimed right lol

very true dont crank that knob up and leave, you will be coming home to a wet mess. deff will blow the top off!

i like to go with the inbetween flow not to dry and not to wet. I get the nice dark goodness to make it's way up and over

lol today my girlfriend went to turn it down to empty the cup and she turned it the wrong way. all i heard was HA!!!!!!!!!!! i looked at the crapy stuff was sparaying all over her. she turned the knob the wrong way, lol it was funny. thought id just share that. by tghe way i keep mine knob about in the middle that seems to work the best

sorry to say but i am glad to hear im not the only one with a wet floor hehehehe
random thought,,, my only other skimmer was a cpr back pak and no issues like that were possible. is this a coralife only issue or do other skimmers out there have the blow the lid off the cup problem.
I quess they warned us by calling it a super skimmer lol
still wet floor an all im still happy with it.

yea wonderful boyfriend huh to laugh at me. if was DEFF disgusting smelled HORRIBLE. for a couple seconds we had a fountain in the living room of fish poo. the top of the cup didnt blow off, theres some breather holes or something in the top and that crap spewed right out...
