Coraline algae Bleaching?????

Coraline algae bleaching? Some of my coraline algae has turned white. any reason why? Its happening both high and low in the tank. I havent changed my lightbulbs in a while... Is that it?

Very well could be the lights, althought the only time I have run into coraline bleaching is when it is exposed to air...

That was it. I took the rocks out to clean the tank! thank you for the help

also, get a Salifert calcium test kit if you don't have one already. That is the only test kit that gave me accurate results. Once I got my calcium right, my purple exploded.
