coraline algae exchange

It is beneficial to have many different types of coraline algae. Maybe we should start a coraline algae exchange? Just an idea.

yep! Or grab a small piece of live rock that is covered in growth. Smash that rock up into a sludge...you spread that sludge around in your tank

hmm. well my tank really doesnt have as much corraline as i would like, it mostly grows in the shade. any guesses why that is?

no. Mine grows in weird places since I switched tanks.

Thanks 007, i have 4 96 watt pc's on a 75. do u think this is too intense? maybe if i use like 2 actinics and 2 50/50s that might be better? i have 2 actinics and 2 10k on there now

I've heard more blue light helps the coraline outcompete other algaes.
