As usual, this question regards getting coraline algae to spread. However, it's not the same old, "how do I get it to spread" question. I know that one of the big factors is current, and I also know that is probably why my coraline isn't spreading very well. I use an old hang-on-back filter for current and surface agitation (I removed all media). I was thinking about putting a few small pieces of LR with good coraline algae in the filter. Whaddya think?
