Is there an easier way to get rid of coraline algae, I have quite a bit right now. I don't mind it on the back especially cause I have a black background, but the stuff on the sides and front are a pain.

Keep it cleared everyday and you won’t have to scrub. I use my mag float on the front glass…it is clear as a bell. I leave algae to grow on the sides and back…the fish like to pick and nibble at it. If you don’t desire it on the sides…once you clean it off, then keep it clear every day using a mag float.
