I have read great advice on helping the algae along. One dumb question...What is Kalkwasser? Help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Kalkwasser is Calcium Hydroxide. Get some and read the directions carfully as some vary. You take water from the tank and mix a small ammount of kalkwasser in it,then WAIT for at least half a day and pull from the mixture making sure not to pull up the settled debris in the bottom, just use a cyringe.Be very careful with it, it is poisonous and don't "fluff" it in the air or you'll choke to death(not literally of coarse).Calcium is the main contributor in growing good coraline but not the only thing. It is however a great start.Good luck and I hope this helps a little
