How long does it take to start growing it?With all the right conditions just switched to r/o water 1.5 months ago.I have vho lights.

I forgot to say i add kalkawasser to all my top off water.

It took me about two months before I started seeing it.About a month ago I started using REEF-VITAL and it really started taking off!You have to keep a good eye on your cal. and alk levels,coraline thrives on these.

I've found that stable levels of calcium & alkalinity....stable ph....adaquate current...& a quality source are keys to establishing coraline.
Plus a bunch of patience!
