coraline algaes

just wanted to know how i could get different colors of coraline algae growing in my tank. the only color thats growing now is a deep red. on two of my lr there is purple algae i think to be but dont see that growing any help please.

The different colors of coralline algae grow in different light levels and one color will dominate. So if you keep calcium at 430 ppm and maintain Iodine you will get good growth. It just take time.

how long have you had the aquarium running, mine been running for 3 weeks now and just started to grow algaes, it can be hard to determinate if its growing but with time it will be more easy to see. good luck
