coraline algea on the glass?

i seem to have some kinda algea growing on my glass from my liverock i think and its kinda hard to scrape off the glass. plus if i stick my hand in there my little gold maroons will try and atk me if i bother them to much and i really dont want to stress them yet i have had them for about a week and the seem pretty mean already
Anyone know how to get it off or anything that will eat it. i have a couple snails alot died from hermit craps but i will have to get more

Hey,
I don't know of anything that eats it once it gets real hard. I use a razor blade. Just be careful not to scratch the tank, especially if it's not glass.

its growing on my glass more than rock its just some of the rock ive had for a while is close to the glass and i think its spreading

Once you scrape it off swipe the glass with your magnetic cleaner every day, it helps some. I use a 4" paint scraper on a pvc handle.
