Coraline bloom

I have had my 6 gallon nano reef setup for about 6 weeks now and today I noticed coraline algae growing all over. I have had it growing on my filter output for about two weeks now, but not there are tons of small coraline spots growing all over the my equipment and I even found some on the glass. I'm so happy . Although I still have the traditional brown algae growing pretty steadily, is that just because the tank is still so young?

does the coralline scrape off with your fingernail? what color is it? how fast did it bloom? what did you do to make it bloom?
the reason i ask is, are you sure its not cyanobacteria? I may be wrong, but i have never heard of coraline blooming and being "all over". the algae i have is spreads gradually.
