coraline declining

I have always had plenty of coraline coverage in my tank, on the rocks, powerheads and glass.
I added about 70 lbs of LR to an established 55 gal with 30 lbs of rock. Since then my coraline has started to die off. Is the rock using more calcium, do i need to add more calcium then I was before?
Let me know what is happening.

what is your calcium level.. and your carbonate alkalinity level... also your specific gravity contributes to these levels.... I recommend:
SG: 1.025.
Ca: 410
C Alk: 2.5 mEq/L
Mg:1280
(having Mg up will make maintaining Ca and Alk easier)
