You might be able to get away with some simple softies such as colt, mushrooms and xenia. But you really dont want to skimp on lights. If you can you should either get a descent T-5 fixture with individual reflectors or a metal halide fixture. If you get a good T-5 or metal halide you will be able to keep almost anything in your tank. Remember, it is better to have more than enough light than not enough.

That is true but not always. Depending how big of a tank you have to much light can bleech some corals.

Alien, speaking from my experiences with these lights, you're not going to be able to keep an anemonie in that tank with that light. The PC just aren't high intensity enough. You are correct, in that it is a single folded reflector. I've been able to keep rock anemones and most soft corals, even a few LSPs, but never SPS corals, bubble tips, carpets, or any others that are hosted by clowns. If you want to keep anemones or higher end corals, invest in a better light. Frustrating I know especially if you've spent your money already.

niskyvaulter, in all honesty, I really don't know much about T5 lighting, so you might be better off to start a new thread. That said, I would probably opt for 6 bulb light myself, especially when considering anemones. Even with MH, in a deeper tank, they tend to move towards the top. Should get my buddy Dennis to post a picture of his 210. Right now the stupid anomones are at the top of his rockwork and hanging on the glass 3/4 of the way up his tank; and thats under 3 150WMH. Anemones period are a risky buisness, and in my personal opinion are best kept in a dedicated tank.
