coralline algae

just got a new tank used and i want to clean it up but how to i get all the coraline off the glass and overflow

Straight vinegar applied to the glass should loosen it up enough to be just wiped off. Set the tank on it's side an pour the vinegar directly onto the glass with the coralline and let it sit a few hours.

scrub brushes for the overflow and tubing

I have found that those old credit cards that are all maxed out from buying the stuff in the tank, makes a great algae scraper. Works on glass and acrylic
