Coralline Algea

I have purple dots all over the front of my tank and am assuming that this is coralline algea. So far they are really small, but I can tell they are growing, the are about the size of a eraser head. Do I scrape this off with the regular crap that accumulates on the sides or do I leave it alone.
Thanks in advance

I use a Kent Pro Scraper to get off my coraline. I hate scraping it because I've been trying for so long to grow it, but thats besides the point. I think that a credit card would work to get it off also. Magnets don't get coraline off.

Let it grow everywhere but on your front glass...It looks great, and it's a sign that your water chemistry is real good. :D
