Coralline and LOTS of it....

Don't know if this is the right fourm for this question, but I have let Coralline grow all over the back glass of my DT. At first I thought it might be pretty cool and I wouldn't have to worry about cleaning the glass if it was completely covered with Coralline. The problem is that now there is some green algae growing on top of the Coralline and it just doesn't look as good as it did when it first started to grow.
The question is: Should I just leave it alone and allow it to keep growing or should I try to scrap it off? I think if I scrap it off a bunch at a time it may grow havoc with my filters. It's a 90 gallon so there is lots and lots of Coralline on the glass.......... I may be breaking down the tank at the beginning of next year cause I may be moving but that is not definte as of right now.......
Thanks

Scraping the CA will prolly cause more of it...That how I got mine to spread so fast...Scraped a bunch off of some small pieces of rocks, BOOM have to scrape the front of the glass once a week...

I personally would leave it because I enjoy the look, but if you do decide to scrape it I doubt you would experience any problems with your filtration. I have scraped huge portions of it off my tank walls and it haven't had any problems.
If you don't like it, scrape it off and keep up with the scraping, if you leave it for too long it becomes almost impossible to remove.

Thanks for the input. I do kinda like it and figured it would be a nightmare to scrape off. Guess I'll leave it until I figure if I am going to be breaking down the tank cause there is lots of it......
Thanks again.............

Scrape it and sell it, look how many people on here are asking about using purple up and complaining of a lack of corraline. They just don't realize once you get it, you might not want it. It always seems to grow where I hate it, on the glass, on the heater, I have larger grain sand which looks purple unless I stir it up every week. You just can't win.

easiest way to take it off is with a fresh razor blade.
you can buy a 10pk at lowes for like, 1.50.
carefully hold it at the correct angle, and it comes off like warm butter.

My coralline has started to grow a little much and loves the FRONT glass of the tank.
The worst part is down where the glass meets the sandbed, I always feel like Im scratching the glass, its a total pain.
I drip Kalk nonstop for my corals and beleive it or not, last week my calcium was LOW (250) it just gets sucked up right away.

Good thing I bought a monster bottle of powdered kalk.
Ive been keeping the back glass cleaned off, but there are parts where the rock is too close to the glass and I cant get the scraper back there, so I cant do anything about that.
