dflannagan - how or where can I get the b-ionis calciun you were talking about for my tank?
Also my PH is about 7.5 to 7.7 can you reccomend a good PH buffer and where to get that also?

Do a search on google for "b-ionic calcium buffer system" and you will find some online vendors that sell this as I can't post the link directly here.
As for a pH buffer, I've never used one so I don't know what would be a good one to use in that situation. I believe that the b-ionic may help with the pH from reading about the stuff on their website.

Thanks, I just ordered 2 gallons of it! That should last me for a while. Where can I get the deionized water to mix with It?

Check your local grocery store or maybe even LFS. They may have something in the water section labelled RO or Reverse Osmosis water available in jugs. I believe Culligan water is processed this way if you have that available.

Thanks klongo and pacopetty... And yes, that's the 175 just finishing the cycle process.
I have to admit, my LFS recommended Seachem Calcium Builder and Seachem Ph to 8.4 but mine always seems to test low with my kits. I may have a bad kit but it seems to be low after every test.
The results, however, as you see, I can't deny those... Plus, yesterday, I saw that one of my pepermint shrimp had molted...
I can only believe the the Seachem is doing it's thing and the tank is absorbing the excess.... I'll stick with Seachem as long as I get good results.

Andy,
This is not a good pic but it is the only one I have right now. I hope to get a better camera this weekend and will add more pics then.......
Just bought a canopy but it won't fit with my hang-on filter so I am thinking the filter will have to go... any ideas while we are discussing such?

Roni,
I had the same problem with my canopy but I made a few modifications and it fit just fine. I got a new set of PC lights and it wouldn't fit so I used a router to edge out about a 3/8" section where the lights were hitting the canopy and I moved the base blocks ( the little wooden blocks that actually sit on the top rim of the tank) down a little and the canopy now fits perfectly.
I hope this helps you
Andy
