Can you add several corals to your tank at once or do you have to space them out like fish, 1 every 2-3 weeks? Thanks.

Yes, you can add several corals at once. They do not produce near the bio-load a fish would.

Thanks. I should have my new lights next week and once the tank is acclimated, Jedi offered some frags from his tank (we live about 2 hours from each other) and I'm making a list of "wants".
What do you know about the flowerpot? My LFS has one that's beautiful and its only $42. Its about 6 inches across and looks great but I've heard they only last 6-8 months? Any idea why?

I do not know much about this particular coral, but I will look into it now.. since i love learning.
However, in my experience, a coral that "only lasts 6-8 months" means that they are difficult, or that they die slowly over that 6-8 months. If they are the latter, I would not get it. Whenever I am told a fish/coral only "lasts 6-8 months" a big flag goes up to me that says that it should not be kept in captivity.
Just my opinion...

Tehnically, I'm not the boss but I'm in charge of everything. ALL the responsibility, but not the pay. Go figure!

Please do a search for "Goniopora" or "Alveopora"

Site here says Moderate care level, high light and medium water flow. I need to search around some more. Thanks.

Flowerpot(Alveopora) is a lagoon coral and likes things a little dirtier then alot of other reef corals. It also likes to be in the sand and with medium to low water flow. The biggest difference between Goniopora and Alveopora is the number of "petals" Gonio has 24 "petals and Alveo has 12 "petals".

Alveos are very difficult to keep long term. Gonioporas are near impossible to keep long term.
That's the basic difference.
Corals to not bother with:
Goniopora
Alveopora
Elegance
Any non-photosynthetic leather (chilli, cauliflower, etc)
Any non-photosynthetic Gorgonian.
Can you be successful with any of these - yes. Is it common for people to be succesful with them? No.
