you might be right with the water flow but my mushrooms shouldnt have died also though, the mushrooms just closed itself up to death.

I would skip the water changes for 1 month. See if they perk up.
Come to think of it i havent changed my water since ... april? I think april yes, I add 3 gallons a day from evaporation. Thats enough of a water change for me.

Yeah put off the water change for a while and see what happens. Just up your doseings a little bit to compensate. Maybe something with your mixing tub...? Family memeber used one day?

I did not see how long you are keeping you lights on for now. I don't know if this will help or not, but when I switched to t-5's HO from NO. I lost a large section of my GSP and my mushrooms stayed very small for about 2 weeks. Every thing is going great now but, when I first swiched to the t-5's I left them on for the same length as the old NO system. Everything was good for the first 2 days then things started to close up. I then cut my photo period way back (I started at 3-4hrs a day) and am slowly bringing it back up. It has been a little over a month now and things are growing like crazy. I hope you have the same luck as I did.
