hello, my setup includes 2X 96watt PC lighting over a 30gal long tank, only 18inchs deep. i have two zoo med powersweep powerheads 2 295gph each. 40lbs live sand, 60lbs live rock. currently i have a royal gramma and a blue damsel, with 2 brittle stars, 12 turbos, 5 scarlets, 7 blue legs, 1 peppermint shrimp, 1 emerald crab, and 3 nassaurius snails. what are some good beginner corals that i could place in this system to add variety and color to it. i would like to get mushrooms and polyps, along with some soft corals, but need advice on what i should get. also, should any more inverts be introduced?any fish? i made the mistake of picking up an elegant coral and do not want to waste anymore of my money, so any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Green star polyps, colt, kenya tree, toadstool leather are all good beginner softies. Colt and green star polyps do grow like weeds though. That's an important issue in a smaller reef tank. Mushrooms wise, ricordea, blue mushrooms are my two favourite. :)

Be careful on your selections with softies. I had my corals outgrow my tank pretty fast so I got a bigger tank.
