my tank's Actinic lights get turned on from 3pm to 11:30pm
MHs get turned on from 5pm to 10:30pm
This morning around 11am, I had quite a few guests coming to check my house and tank out. I had no choice but turned all lights on.
Everything was still asleep and "PAOW", the whole tank got lid up and was so bright.
All my corals, inverts and fishes didn't have enuf time to react and so everything closed up and all livestock seek for places to hide.
I turned MHs off about 30min after that and left Actinic lights on since they were turned on.
I'm not sure if it's going to do any harm to the reef.
I just thought it was harsh to the whole tank when the tank gets lid up so sudden like that.
