corals on base rock

i am hopefully buying a 30" pc 130 watt for my 29 gallon. i have about 20 lbs of br and about 3 lbs of lr. is it ok for me to put the corals on the base rock and will the lr seed the br while the corals are on it?

It all depends on what type of base rock your using. Yes it will seed it, but at a very slow process since your dealing with only 3 lbs of live rock. Depending on the type your using, it may only become live base rocks, not live rocks. Yes it's fine to have the corals on the base rock. :happyfish

Im not sure what you're worried about with the seeding? It wont have any effect on your corals
