Corals-Please Identify

Why did you have to move them out of the light? If they are zoos then they are very hardy, try moving them back where they were and see if they open.

becaue they were getting that brown alea on it...Its not out of the light, just a little deeper..Not sure why its so scared to come out though..

It may have been shedding. Leave it alone!! Even if it is brown algae, when the polyps come out they will block the light and kill it.
The one I thought was a plate coral...the skeleton makes me reconsider. That does not look like a plate skeleton. But it will still eat meaty foods. Every LPS I can think of will...

Here is a pic of the encrusting gorgonian that "I used to have", does it (no.4) look like this??

Back to number 4... If the "mat" was pink or fuschia colored it would be an easy ID as green star polyps. However, since it is tan in color, I think you will find this interesting.
These polyps are also green but it is a different coral called (Briareum stechel)

Here is the Coral that was hiding for a few days..it looks good now..
Question is...what do I need ot do to keep this guy alive and get him to grow..I hear its a very hardy coral and will spread quickly..
Any truth to this?

How do I feed these corals? What kind of food? I read on this site to do the meaty thing but Im not all convinced on that yet...Thanks..
