I was thinking about getting a few corals specifically:
blue coral
green open brain coral
frogspawn coral
just to start with and see how difficult the coral would be to care for before moving on the some of the more expensive corals. At the fish store I normally shop I can get small pieces of those for between $50 and $80 each.
I already know about the lighting required but I was wondering do I need to add calcium, idoine, trace elements, iron... all that stuff or are those things that should be in my tank naturally?
And is waterflow important? How do I see if I have the right water flow to add corals? and is placement in the tank an issue?
I have never done corals before, this is my first tank and I have only had it about a month.
Any help or info would be much apperciated,
Jessica
