Coralvue Mh Lamps

I just received 2 coralvue mogul style bulbs. both are 175 watt, one is 10,000 k and the other is 20,000 k. I removed 2 10,000k hamilton bulbs. my question is has anyone had any experience with coralvue bulbs? I'm kinda disappointed....they don't seem as bright as the ones I removed. I know the 20,000 k won't be, but I figured the 10,000k would. any input? BTW, it's a 125 gallon tank full of red shrooms, a bubble and a few carpets.
I gues what I'm wondering is are there "cheap" bulbs.... the Hamiltons were a bit more expensive. Maybe I don't need the 20K bulb.
I'm u/l ing a pic of my tank....any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

They are ok bulbs. The Hamilton's probably had more PAR, hence the brighter appearance. Coralvue's new Reeflux bulbs are getting decent reviews. They are brighter and of higher quality.

holy moly that is a lot of shrooms amazing amazing good luck with the new bulbs!

this is about four years in the making..... it started out with a few and I split some and, well, they got real happy.

I just got one of the Coralvue Reeflux bulbs 250w 10k I'll let you know in a few weeks what I think of them. Right now they look ok but that will change once they burn in.
