Corded Phones

i have a cordless phone, a cord phone, and everyone in the house except my little brother has a cell phone. idk why. isnt a cord phone safer than cordless?

When the power goes out a corded phone will work. A cordless phone will not.

we have one on the kitchen wall and another in storage. Like Scott said.....
when the power goes out.....so does the phone

great for canes...no power but can still use it.

Just cell phones here... No home phone at my place, and when my parents moved, they decided to skip on a home phone too. No point really (till a cell tower goes down

)

or gets overloaded. I remember 9-11 yikes what a mess that was. Couldn't call out or receive for most of the day and evening. Also when we had a terrible ice storm here last year, the same thing happened, I guess a lot of people did not have corded phones and overloaded the cell towers.

we have cellphones - no landline whatsoever. we also have extra batteries, and a generator into which we can plug our cellphone chargers in the event of a power outage.
