I bought 40 pounds of live rock and it is sitting in the bottom of my tank. I bought the LR and had it shipped to me. It took about 5 days to get here. How can I get the corraline algae to start growing? Is there a way to kick start this process?

I have another 70 lbs coming next week via UPS Ground (5 days).

Mine seems to spread faster when I add supplements and calcium. Some people will scrape theirs so it will flake off and spread around the tank. I have always found that it needs and established tank with good water quality. Every time I move, it takes 6-9 months before I see it on the glass.
