I am just setting up my tank. I added my lr which had some nice looking purple corraline on it. I turned on my new pc's and now the corraline is green and white. Is there any chance it will turn purple again?

same subject I have had my tank set up since dec 5th and all i have for corraline is a little pink and green on the cc. Why dont i have mass growth? any suggestions would help.

All that happened was that your coralline algae got bleached due to you new lighting. Most of the time it will come back to the purple color. To help it spread put it by a power head or brush it so the spores will spread.

so their would not be a reason that I am doing something wrong for it not to spread?

How long before it turns purple and how long before I can turn on the pc's? Thanks.

My fadded also when i added my PC, i went from 30watt to 250 watt. You also need to check your calcium and PH and ALk, the C. algea takes alot of calcium out of your tank, need to balance it out
