Cortez Stingray

I am interested in buying a cortez. My lfs is selling one for around $80. Is this overpriced? Also he says it will do good in my 75. Could a lionfish go with a cortez? Please give your thoughts on this situation.

first of all welcome to the site
2nd....NOOOOO A cortez CAN NOT go int a 75G.....I had one in a 225G and it was too small for her
AND NOOOOO A lion can not go with a ray
SORRY, BUT your lfs is giving you BAD INFO

I hope saxman chimes in. He is expert on everything lion. I don't know much about them, other than they are beautiful. I do know some of them get pretty big and a 75 may be too small. But I'm pretty sure there are a several species will fit in a 75. As for the eel. All I know is they are tasty in sushi.

I would slow down. And I wouldn't trust your LFS anymore, they are giving you terrible advice.
Get some good books on the hobby too.
