Some people will spend more and some less, regarding what the price will be we are here to enjoy this hobby and not to tell each other that we can get this for that and that for free and etc......
It is good to shop around and see if there are some good used equipment, but some people will just trust new stuff and by doing that the monetary spending will be more....
The best we can do is not tell each other how much we can get by basically give some estimate on how much would usually go for......People may have spent thousands on a nano and others couple hundreds, but that's the hobby....
Good Luck on your nano, they are just a little harder than big equipment since maintanence is a little bit more......

I bought my live rock from Bob's Tropical fish but I am now using the store in Evans for my corals but they are more expensive on some things.

If you go to that auction site, you can get much better deals than buying new. I got my 90 gallon with filtration, lighting, 90lbs 0f live rock, coral, and some fish for about $900. I've seen complete nano systems up to 20 gallons selling between 200 and 300. This included live rock, fish, lighting, tank, filtration, the works. Used is great.

Guess I need to check out Bob's. We are almost done w/ our setup now though. We got everything from Star. 24G Aquapod, CC, LR, cleaner crew, just started adding fish yesterday. Got a white Goby, a dottyback, orange starfish, and a Fire Shrimp. Going early next week to get 2-3 more fish and probably a cleaner shrimp.

I honestly like Star A. better. Bobs gave me a break on the LR because I bought everything from him when I set mine up. I did not know about Star A. then.
I really like Star and will be buying my corals from him. There is another guy in Aiken, it is called SaltWaterCity on Whiskey road who gives me some real good deals as well.
But overall I like Star A.
