I bought a clarki about 2-4 weeks ago...after about a week in my tank i noticed it started to act weird, it would come out and swim around for a few minutes then it would lay on the bottom of the tank or sometimes it looked like it was trying to cuddle up to me hermit crabs...it has deffinatly been getting fatter, it stomach looks huge but it will still eat at feeding times....just the other day it took to my anenome and now it lays in there a lot and most of the time it tries to steal the anenomes food like its starving.I asked the guy at the pet store and he said they dont mate in tanks with more than a few other fish in them so it wouldnt be possible. So if you can please tell me if you think it is, and if so should i take it out of my tank and put it in another one away from my other fish.
