coulpe quick questions....

1. when feeding my corals phytoplankton, should i turn off my filters and power heads..???
2. if i leave my filters on will it cause a amm. increase by being sucked into my filter???
3. is it common for green star ployps to grow at a REALLY REALLY high rate.????? i just bought a little rock about 1 month ago, and its almost doubled in size..

no sure about the first 2 questions but i can say that green star polyps are one of the fastest growing corals! so i dont think that it is unusual to double its size in a month or so!

People recomend turning of filter when dosing with Phyto,
#2 I have no Amonia spike with filters turned on.
#3 Green stars grow fast and spread like the wildfire under good water conditions.
