Couple of Noob questions...from a not noob

1. Can i use garlic powder in my fish food instead of garlic extract?
2. I have the hydor flow deflector on my 14g nano, what pump upgrade should i get?
3. In the salifert kits are the spoon sizes the same?

I do when i make food but be shure that it is just garlic and no addatives

i would go with a maxi jet 900 if you are upgrading pump in the cube 1200 may work also not that much higher GPH

garlic powder does nothing from what i have read. You need to mince up fresh garlic cloves or the enzymes that are beneficial break down.

Agreed.
As for the PH to use the rotating deflector I recommend an MJ 600. I had the 900 with the rotator in my 29 and when the PH was positioned at the top of my tank it still created a sand storm. I tweeked it to work but put it back on my 600 and cut off a few of the "fan blades" so that it would rotate slower and not be as restricted. It worked.
