Couple of questions!

I want to remove my Crushed Coral substrate! how do i do that without creating havok in my tank!
and question 2
I have 2 eng gobies, they are gettin huge now, But I have notised they are gettin these yellow stripes all along thier dorsal fins, is this normal?

I just removed mine, well I removed all but a one inch layer. I did it over the course of 4-5 nights so that I didn't get too much of the waste stirred up in the water. I put all my rock on one side and started removing the CC on the other side. I vacuumed the CC before I pulled it out so I didn't cloud the water as much. After getting 1/3 of it out, I removed some more water and then added new water. I did the other 2/3's over the course of a week.
Don't know about question 2.

yes its very normal as they grow they will change appearance drasticly. as for removing the cc syphoning it out would be your best way cause little waste upheaval, below is a pic of a 12 in engeneer goby I had him for 3 yrs until my niger trigger dicided to chew him in half

Holy crap 12" goby, Mine are about 6" now! I know i need a bigger tank! Woot, here come my taxes, LOL I mean there go my taxes :)

Yeah, the place I work at had an 8 year old engineer that was close to a foot and a half and easily triple the diameter of the one in the picture. It looked more like an eel that it did a goby (even though they really are neither a goby nor a blenny nor an eel).

lol. well the min requirments for an adult is 70 gal they are so cool though.just dont house one with a trigger when I found mine it was 6 inches long after my niger was done with it. he dies after I removed him from the main tank
