Greetings all,
Just a couple pics to share...maybe someone can id the pink substance on the first and second pic its the same rock just on the back side....algae or sponge?
The purple substance on the third pick....is that coraline...it looks healthy...and good...but the only thing is that it is growing on the sand as well? Its just been growing for a couple of weeks.
Tank is about 85 - 90 days.

if it's growing on the sand and it's not hard to the touch, it's cyanobacteria.
the other pic is a type of sponge.

Okay I looked up cyanobacteria, but can't find anything that says specifically if its good or bad
Often considered bad, but not OMG bad. Could be a sign you need to step up husbandry. Maybe not. Typically indicates too many proteins/dissolved solids in your water column.
Do you skim?
How often do you do water changes?
Do you use RO water?
Do you have sufficient flow?
There were no bad links in this article so here ya go.....

yup... defiantly red slime and a sponge! and red slime itsnt really bad, its just ugly. and when it gets out of hand it sucks nutrients from the water and can start to cover corals. it does lower nitrates tho. i used blue vet red slime control with great results to get rid of it from my tank.
