Cowfish

Anybody know anything about these guys?

They are certainly different. How's that for starters? The cow fish is similiar to some box fish in that when they get spooked they can let off a toxin in the water that can kill off other fish as well as themselves. This is also true when they die(with the exception of themselves ) . However, I do know of some that have kept this fish with none of the above problems. Good water conditions are very important. Certainly a conversation piece in any aquarium.

Best thing to do is a SEARCH because there is a lot of info and questions posted on this board about those fish ... and its best to just read what others already wrote. I know because I've asked before about them.

I had mine for about 5 day and he seems to be doing just fine. He eats just about everything. He's about the size of a quarter, and is quite the character.

corky has explained it very well and in a lot less words then I could. You must be careful with that fish as they can cause great problems if they become stressed or ill. As suggested search feature use cowfish and find a wealth of info on this fish.
