the dimensions are 7.75"x4"x7.5". it comes with a rio powerhead connected to it which i may or may not use while the coral is trying to attach..could i place some rubble rock in the bottom and stick it in my main tank to attach coral like xenia and once they are attached i'll placed the coral with the piece of rock in the tank and remove the device?

it'll float around. could i just use like one of those little round containers with bridal veil over it with rubble rock and put the xenia in there for it to attach?
