CPR skimmer on nano cube help

hi
does any one have a cpr skimmer skimmer or any HOB skimmer their nano tanks? pics? i have the jbj nano cube 24 and just got a cpr bakpak skimmer. the porblem is that the return of the skimmer is the opposite of the water flow in the back chambers. ive got these ideas? what do you guys think? which is the best option? or any oter suggestions?

option 1 this is how it would look like would it work? the water would just be going circles

option2. put the pump in the tank not in the chamber and leave the return in the chamer.

option 3. extend both to the tank

I like # 2 the best but do the opposite of # 2. Leave the pump in the chamber and extend the out tube in to the tank so you don't see the pump...
