crab compatibility

hey guys
i have a 29gl tank, in ther i got a domino damsel, a green chromis, and a hippo tang ( i know i need a bigger tank for the hippo but hes only about 2 inches big right now and im planning on getting a bigger tank soon). i also got a bunch of hermit crabs, a sally light foot, a peppermint shrimp, and recently an arrow crab.
i know that the sally wont bother anything in the tank, but from what read in other post i might have a problem with the arrow head. im afraid it might get the tang since it is still smal and he stays close to the rocks. and im worried the about the shrimp too.
what do you guys think, should i get rid of the arrow crab?

In my opion I think you should. They will catch and eat small fishes if they are hungry. I saw one at the local fish store i go to kill a clown in front of my eyes. There were about 5 of them in a tank and the clown. The tank was about 30 gallons. I dont trust them. I would give him back if i were you.

Oh and sally light foots will also kill fish when they are fully grown. They get pretty big and nasty looking. I had one sally light foot almost catch and kill my chromis so i gave the crab back to the store. After your peppermint shrimp molts he will be up for grabs between the arrow crab and sally lightfoot. I have had 4 differnent sally lightfoots, and all have been the same, They get big then they start hunting.

Sometimes the arrow crabs will bother other tank mates and sometimes they won't. I have had 2 very large arrow crabs in with peppermint shrimp, 3 cleaner shrimp, 2 camel shrimp and small clownfish and they never bothered anything, but like I said maybe they will and maybe they won't. In a larger tank you would be able to but since your tank is only a 29 gal I wouldn't put one in.

thanks guys, i didn't want to risk it so i gave it to somebody else. its a shame i really liked the way they look. maybe when i get a bigger tank ill try my luck with one again.
